Biography

Joe joined Base Architects in 2019 following 8 years with a local Practice and before that 5 years with an internationally recognised Architectural Practice.

During his career he has gained extensive knowledge of design and construction on both domestic and commercial schemes through to an impressive array of residential projects of all sizes and educational sector work.

Joe is also a Chartered Town Planner which gives him a strong understanding of current local and national planning policy and its application as the context to the built and natural environment. He has worked on numerous projects in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Green Belt, Conservation Areas, National Parks and in the open countryside.

He has worked extensively with public and private stakeholders and through effective collaborative and consultation has delivered large and small scale schemes through a variety of pathways. His skill set enables him to interrogate and investigate the potential opportunities for each individual scheme and create innovative and strategic solutions to maximise the potential of every project.
