Planning approved for a 3½ acre extension at Prees Heath Motor Auction

We have received permission to extend the Prees Heath Motor Auction facility to increase the capacity for cars held on this site. The work undertaken to achieve the permission was quite complex in terms of biodiversity, flooding, drainage, visual impact and land ownership issues.

The car park surface has been designed to allow storm water to percolate slowly into the ground and gently make its way to the brook via interceptors. The design has been very carefully considered so as not to change the volume or pace of water leaving the site. Security has been paramount in terms of the design and a combination of landscape feature and fence has been utilised to ensure the site’s integrity.

The additional capacity will allow Prees Heath Motor Auction to compete on a national level as this permission will allow them to sell the cars under the conditions the market demands.
