base Architecture is involved with developing new communities, establishing bench mark design in line with the latest government thinking.

We work closely with government bodies and also the private sector. We have developed villages containing between 110 and 1000 properties with associated support buildings such as community and shopping centres.

We are looking at new ways of living within the built environment. Environmental issues are driving new housing design. Zero carbon, low energy properties are becoming the standard that is now accepted. We have developed designs which integrate the latest technologies.

We are also involved with the conversion of barns and historical properties utilising zero carbon heat sources which enables a relaxation of Part L of the Building Regulations, which in turn helps preserve the integrity of the historical property.
