As a result of this, Emily discovered she had particular interest in community-led projects, particularly ones which involve the regeneration of urban areas.

Emily’s passion for architecture was ignited when her parents bought an old barn when she was 14, and she was able to watch the empty shell develop into their now current home. Art was also always her favourite subject in school, and she enjoys sketching and drawing in her spare time. During Covid-19 she started selling drawings of people’s houses and she has been able to carry on with this hobby as her career has progressed.
