Award nod for River House
One of our recent projects – the stunning River House in Shrewsbury – has been shortlisted for the regional finals of the prestigious LABC(Local Authority Building Control) Building Excellence Awards!
The River House is a finalist in two categories; best extension or alteration to an existing home and best change of use of an existing building or conversion.
This scheme involved a kitchen extension and interior remodelling of the general arrangement of the house to make it better suit the living arrangements of a family home.
The property occupies a prominent position on the riverside in Shrewsbury and the results demonstrate the creative approach we take to adapting existing buildings so they can provide modern living solutions.
It’s a great honour to be shortlisted for these awards as they are the largest business-to-business awards in the building control sector. They recognise quality in all types of building project.
Competition has been stronger than ever this year so just being shortlisted is a great achievement!
We’ll find out whether we’ve won at the West Midlands final at the Telford International Centre on June 8. All the regional winners go through to the national finals in London later this year.
