This month’s Base Cares donation goes to The Wave Project, nominated by our creative consultant, Sophie Booth.
The charity gives young people the confidence and skills to enjoy life to the full. It started as a small voluntary project in Cornwall back in 2010 and now runs therapeutic surfing courses throughout the UK.
These award-winning courses combine surfing with the positive energy supplied by awesome volunteers and professional surf coaches. The courses help young people to learn and feel free, feel calmer, less anxious and more positive about themselves.
