Base Cares
In light of the harrowing situation in Ukraine, we have decided that our March #basecares donation would be made to the British Red Cross, as part of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Appeal.
This DEC unites 15 member charities that are experts in humanitarian aid and specialists in disaster response. The DEC launches appeals during times of monumental suffering, as is the case in Ukraine right now.
In some areas of Ukraine, water, electricity, and phone connectivity have been affected. Many people are taking cover from the shelling in basements and bomb shelters, but are going without the most basic supplies, like food and water.
Our donation will be used to support the work to reach people in urgent need by providing food, first aid, clean water, shelter, warm clothing, hygiene parcels and medicines.
