Networking event on target for charity
Base director Harry Reece has launched a new networking event that will support Hope House, a charity that provide vital services for young people with life limiting illnesses and their families in Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid Wales and North Wales.
The first Professionals Monthly event Clay Pigeon Shoot will take place at the West Midlands Shooting Ground in Hodnet on April 17. The afternoon is suitable for both experienced and non experienced shooters with coaching provided for those who are new to the sport.
For each booking, £5 will be donated to the charity, which runs two hospices at Hope House at Morda, near Oswestry in Shropshire, and at Tŷ Gobaith in North Wales.
Services it provides includes specialist nursing and palliative care at home, in the community and at the hospices; emotional and practical help to parents and other family members; and bereavement support and specialist counselling to any family who has lost a child.
The event will cost £45 for gun licence holders and £70 for non licence holders to include cartridges and coaching. It will start with refreshments at 12.30pm and close by 4.30pm.
Harry said: “This will be a great way to make new contacts in a fun environment and learn new skills if you have never shot before. It will also support an incredible charity that does amazing work in the areas where we work.
“Having worked with Hope House, we have experienced first hand the difference it makes so we are delighted to be supporting it with this new networking event that we aim to be repeating on a regular basis.”
Places need to be booked via the West Midlands Shooting Ground on 01939 200644 by April 14. For any other enquiries, email [email protected].
