What We Did
The scheme features 244 solar panels and nine electric vehicle charging points, as well as a specially commissioned sculpture.
Working with our client, we undertook a variation of condition application to amend the site’s original approved design, as well as the progression and development of the detailed building regulations and construction detailing package. This has resulted in the creation of three new steel portal framed industrial units for end-user fit out alongside five new starter units for smaller local businesses looking to grow and expand.
The result
The units have now been handed over to Shropshire Council and are in the process of being occupied by the new tenants.
The expansion of the existing business park at Bishops Castle is a flagship scheme for the local authority that will boost economic growth in and around the market town through the provision of new premises and job opportunities.
