Overview
Fort Pendlestone is a Grade II Listed red sandstone textile mill beside the river Severn near Bridgnorth. Built in 1845 by Thomas Whitmore it follows the trend of cast iron and masonry mill buildings pioneered by the world famous Flax Mill in Shrewsbury.

What We Did
Such work required careful liaison with the local Conservation Officer to create elegant apartments that highlight the historical features of the building.
The soft local sandstone also demanded careful attention to detailing to ensure the building remained dry and warm.
The result
The success of the conversion was reflected by the swift sale of the apartments on completion of the project onsite.
