This project involved a full review on how the existing residential dwelling was configured against the family’s living requirements.
The dwelling had historically been remodelled however the results of the process caused complicated areas with little / restricted natural light.
What We Did
Base Architects developed a scheme which was submitted to Shropshire Council for a design solution which provided an improved layout alongside the inclusion of a side and rear extension for additional and improved habitable space, which also directly connected with the family garden.
The result
A large feature lantern was included within the flat roof to the new snug in order to gain as much natural light as possible into the property.
