This project consisted of a the development of a single storey contemporary extension to create an open plan kitchen and dining area to provide a physical and visual connection to the external garden space.
What We Did
Base Architects managed the scheme from the initial design concept through to building regulations and the onsite construction phase of works.
The result
The proposal incorporates a floating flat roof with aluminium wrap around glazing and a large roof lantern to flood the space with natural light.
External down lights were installed in the large soffits and all rain water drainage is concealed within the structure to create a sharp and modern finish.
