This scheme involved the demolition of an existing 1950’s timber framed detached dwelling which sat within a local Conservation Area and creation of a new contemporary property.
The project created a large open plan living spaces and incorporated extensive areas of glazing to provide front to back views throughout the house.
What We Did
Base Architects not only managed the planning application stage of works, but also undertook the Building Regulations, Tender and Contract Administration providing our concept to completion service for the scheme.
The materials used take their reference from nearby existing properties with roof slates, rendered walls and polyester powder coated aluminium window frames and rendered walls sat on a slate plinth.
